Why Astrobranding? Ancient Techniques for a Modern World

I work with a diverse array of clients with varying degrees of astrological knowledge. I encourage total beginners to take a look at this introductory blog post, in which I walk you through a case study and show you how it all works.

If you’re already clued in and ready to see how astrology can transform your professional and personal life, let’s dive in. Bonus: at the end, I’ll share a moodboard that is reflective of my own natal chart.

Knowledge is Power

You don’t know what you don’t know. Plenty of business owners and entrepreneurs wonder why their efforts fail, despite keeping a close eye on trends, algorithms, and markets. The reason why you’re failing isn’t bad luck; you’re just not aware of how to harness your own power.

The most exciting part of astrobranding, in my experience, is the sense of empowerment it provides. Learning that your dreams are by design, that your strengths are written in the stars, and that you can use all of this information to build a prosperous business, is no small thing. And it’s not just spiritually groundbreaking; it has very practical applications, too.

Trends + Timing

One of the crucial things to understand about astrology is that certain times are more auspicious than others. If you are a Sagittarius rising with a Virgo Midheaven, for instance, you may discover that during the period of time between late August to mid-September, you are in the spotlight much more or you achieve more professional recognition.

During this time, when the sun is transiting your tenth house of career, public recognition, and legacy, this area of your life is highlighted—and you’re likely to reap the rewards of your labor throughout the rest of the year. From late February to mid-March, as the sun transits your fourth house of home, family, and domesticity, you may wish to isolate yourself more. While society tells you to work hard during Q1, your natural inclination is to work at a slower pace.

While other branding agencies may attempt to subtly nudge you to conform to certain passing trends, I help clients design a path forward that is aligned with their whole selves, and advise them on the best ways to capitalize on their innate capabilities.

Only astrobranding allows for the natural rhythms of the cosmos—and your own personal astrological transits—to guide your success. This is radically countercultural, the antithesis of hustle culture. And it works.

My birth chart: Sagittarius sun exactly conjunct Jupiter in Sagittarius (fourth house), moon in Scorpio (third house), Virgo rising.

The corresponding moodboard, created via Cosmos, highlights the strong Jupiterian influence in my chart: references to flight, travel, adventure, and freedom, all centered around nostalgic places reminiscent of childhood, thanks to my comfortable fourth house sun.

Opposite is my Gemini Midheaven, which holds no planets but nevertheless exerts a great deal of influence over my public persona. Gemini demands a playful, easygoing, and whimsical aesthetic.

We played homage to my Scorpio moon by integrating vaguely eerie and sinister scenes of decay and abandonment. There is a slightly surreal, dreamlike atmosphere, evoking a sense of muted mystery.

As a Virgo rising, my attention to detail is strong and I value straightforward communication, represented by the images of postcards, Polaroids, and analog photographs.

If you’re curious about how your own natal chart can shape your brand, I’d love to explore it with you. Your brand already exists within you—it’s just waiting to be uncovered. ✨ I can’t wait to connect!
